Susanne leads Cougar Global’s private client business and is a senior member of the Investment Team.  She brings 25 years of global capital market and investing experience that covers a range of asset classes including global fixed income, currencies, equities, commodities, as well as alternative investments and structured products. She has worked with both private and institutional clients as a discretionary portfolio manager and advisor, having held positions with Deutsche Bank (DWS) in New York and Luxembourg, Morgan Grenfell Asset Management (Aberdeen Asset Management) in London and with UBS Wealth Management and Citi Private Bank in Toronto.  Susanne earned an Honours BA in Economics and German from Rutgers University.  In addition, she is a registered Portfolio Manager – Advising Representative with the Ontario Securities Commission. While Susanne grew up in the United States, she is originally from Germany. Susanne is involved with several philanthropic initiatives, and is a board member of Project Sunshine Canada.
