Supply Chain finance is a term used to describe many types of finance, ranging from factoring and receivables, inventory and inventory in transit to payables financing. While these financing typologies have been in existence for many years, there are new trends that connect EIPP(electronic invoice presentment and payment) to automated disbursement methods that service that age old divide between a seller’s desire to reduct DSOs and a buyer’s desire to increase DPOs.  The presentation will review some of the mechanics of supply chain finance combined with a review of some of the new trends that are beginning to gain market share both here in North America as well as globally.
